Independence Day Celebration 2023

14 August being Pakistan’s independence day is the most joyful and celebrated day every year. The whole nation shows their love for motherland by wearing green, lighting up buildings and making resolves to work hard for prosperous and flourishing Pakistan. This celebration every year reminds us of the supreme sacrifices rendered by the generations who either struggled to achieve independence or fought for survival of Pakistan since its inception. The incredible fervour and enthusiasm displayed on this eve should remain alive throughout the year and this spirit be visible in every good step we take for the betterment of our beloved Pakistan.

Keeping its traditions alive, Govt. Graduate College for Women Satellite Town Jhang celebrated the National Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Madam Iffat Sultana, Vice Principal, GGCW in the college premises. National Anthem was also played on this occasion. A large number of faculty, staff members and students were present on this event.

Vice Principal said that “To protect and wisely use our national assets is our prime responsibility; she further added “Pakistan is our identity and it’s a day to fulfill our commitments to this motherland’’ and “Every one of us should own Pakistan and everybody performing his/her duties honestly.
She stressed upon character building of new generation because the nation which does not have ethical values and characters   cannot value her independence. She said that young students are the future of this country and they should use their fullest capacity for the progress of the country. We must look into the past, to get lesson but also move forward for better and prosperous Pakistan, she added.

College’s staff members and students paid tribute with their melodious voices to this land in the form of national songs. 

At the end of the occasion Madam Iffat Sultana, gave vote of thanks to the faculty members, students and the program organizers to make this event successful.
